I joined the company as a Product Owner and I managed on-site awareness and enhancements for Aeroplan, as well as the second phase of the company's CMS rollout.

As eCommerce Manager, I implemented eCommerce solutions, eCRM and social ads for DTC Canadian sites: jpwiserstour.ca, foreignaffairwinery.com. I wrote, created and executed content and creative for digital marketing and partner/delivery app campaigns across the wines and spirits portfolio.


2018 - 2020

For two years, I took a break from corporate life and did some contract work, as well as worked on the part-time baking business I had at the time. I had the opportunity to work with a small retail store here in Toronto to create an online shop and manage their Instagram account. I also helped entrepreneurs with their businesses while at Shopify.

2011 – 2018

As Director, Digital Platforms (promoted from Manager, Websites) I led daily operations for Fairmont.com, Raffles.com and Swissotel.com. This included desktop and mobiles sites, apps, multilingual sites and our booking path. Representing Marketing in a cross-functional team, I ensured stakeholders’ needs were met and worked on several large-scale projects: website redesigns, new websites and the migration to a new CMS.

As the primary contact for brand website content and CMS functionality, I provided direction and communicated processes and standards to our regional and corporate office digital teams. I also developed and implemented the process for training and support of regional hotel colleagues on key areas of content editing.

2008–2011

As the Manager, Creative Services (promoted from Content Producer) I managed scheduling for the production team and was also responsible for writing all promotional and interface copy for the Canadian market, as well as ensuring legal compliance of all content and consistency to the brand’s voice.

I also implemented a documented workflow and production process, which led to greater efficiency in project delivery.

I started my career as a writer and editor and spent five years working with several brands, including W Network, FASHION Magazine, and Food Network Canada. In addition to managing editorial calendars and freelance writers, I also worked on several projects.
